Iceland: Waterfalls, Volcanoes & Northern Lights
From $4,750 per person
September is Iceland's sweet spot: the summer crowds have gone, the roads are still open, and the nights are finally dark enough for the aurora. We chase weather rather than a fixed schedule, and stay at country hotels far from the ring-road coach stops.

Day by Day
8 days, 7 nights. Every day has an anchor and an escape hatch — nothing here is compulsory.
Transfer from Keflavik, harbour walk, welcome dinner of things pulled from the sea this morning.
We run the route in reverse to miss the buses. Geysir, Gullfoss, and a hot spring bakery stop.
Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, black sand at Reynisfjara, and a country hotel with aurora wake-up calls.
Guided walk on a glacier tongue in the morning, free afternoon, hot tub at dusk.
Boat among the icebergs, then the beach where they wash ashore. Long light, few people.
Super-jeep into the volcanic interior — moss fields, craters, and a river crossing or two.
Lava fields, a quiet local hot spring, and a farewell dinner at a farm restaurant.
Transfers to Keflavik. Late flights can add a Blue Lagoon stop on the way.

- GroupMaximum 12, in two vehicles, so nobody sits in the back row all week.
